
alas, it is not. It is still a five point harness. Supposedly that is a much safer bet than moving them to a booster seat. But in our case, it was also about keeping him still. He gets so anxious/excited to squirm around in a regular belt. It also converts to a high back booster once they hit 65 lbs (at Conner's rate, that should take a while) and a regular no-back booster after that.
