So assuming the world is made up of all kinds of people. And all of those "kinds of people" need a place to live, then logically it might follow that some of "those kinds" of people might buy houses and therefore you would need various "kinds" of real estate agents to help them.
Case in point: Real Estate Association Christmas Gala...talk about an adventure or should I say "lesson" about the various "kinds" of people that live in our corner of civilization....to each there own.
Now in case I sound like I am sponsoring an unfair stereotype of "strange" realtors, let me just say that there was a bulk of my "kind" of people and only a few moonlighting oddities...
Let's just say that I wasn't too bored because at least I could be a people watcher.

California Adventures

Well, we have recently returned from a Thanksgiving California Adventure. As usual, we had fun visiting the family that we don't see as often and having lots of "firsts" experiences.
Conner loved hearing the seals/sea lions at the wharf and swimming with all the cousins. We even got some fun pics and Conner liked the boats and pigeons and seagulls, etc.
I think he especially loved riding a horse and if you ask him, he makes sure to tell you he did it "all by myself." He also got to ride with mommy and daddy...which was also great fun.
We survived the trip and only had to watch "Cars" about 6 times. We took a ton of movies and the only one he wanted to watch was CARS. Surprise surprise. Steve only had one minor infraction :) and I managed to not wreck the rental car. Adventures as always.

We took our first family pic since Conner was about 8 months old. Turned out really cute. I just wished I had our Bella bear for it. Oh well...photoshop works ok I guess

Primary....here we come
Well, today Conner's nursery class went to Primary singing time to get the kids ready to go to Primary in January....yes, you read that right. He is going to be a Sunbeam in less time than it takes to eat Thanksgiving turkey and let the Christmas toys get boring....
Mommy was so excited (read nervous, choked up) that she had to leave Sunday school to go peek in on her little boy sitting in Primary like he thought he was supposed to be grown up or something. Quite a note for the journal. He's not a baby anymore even if he does give the best snuggle-bug hugs!

Halloween
Not much to note about the pumpkins....except Conner thought the seeds were "eww Gross..." no need to mention that last year they were the funnest part. Oh and that Conner decided how his pumpkin face should be. In case you were wondering, well, Steve's pumpkin is a Ninja Turtle....go figure!Ask me how determined a three year old can be about what he wants to dress up as...First it was Elmo, because he likes Elmo and we had an Elmo costume. But then he saw my FamilyFun magazine and wanted me to make him the dragon costume they had a picture of. It was a cardboard monstrosity....cute and fun....but what a headache. I didn't know how to tell him that Mommy didn't want to pull all her hair out and be bald for Halloween. So thankfully we were at Rachel's and he saw a costume ad in her paper. He was looking at all the dressed up kids and out of the blue said he wanted to be Batman and even sang the "Nananana...BATMAN!" song. Don't ask me how he knew it. He is just a quick one I guess. So then he was determined to be Batman....ask his mom how much fun it was to figure out what we were going to do about that. I hadn't seen any Batman outfits small enough and nothing was going to deter him. Once again Aunt Rozy came to the rescue. She said she had a little Superman costume so we went to her house to try it on. And out of the wonderful basement of treasures came a DINOSAUR outfit.
An Aladar no less (for those who are clueless...like me....Aladar is the one from DINOSAURS movie)....and so we were set. He was so excited and he was so cute. From the side or back you couldn't even see his little face. We sent fun pics to all the grandmas. Plus it was warm....always a bonus in the frigid cold. Pic coming soon....
